LIFE OF HOLINESS ON EARTH

Holiness of life is simply a state or character of being holy and it is the requirement of God for an acceptable service to Him. So, holiness must be the goal of every person who is serious about having an excellent relationship with God here on earth with the blessed hope and assurance of seeing Him in heaven and throughout eternity. Be ye holy for I am holy. (1 Peter 1:16).

Therefore, holiness is the principal application needed for a daily life of consistence with God. It is required in the lives of those who want to be enriched and deepened in their walk and intimacy with God. The instruction is plain and precise and it cannot be any plainer or direct than that. However, it is frightening today that many people are far from living holy lifestyle, believing that it is impossible for man to live a holy life on earth.

Since the Scripture contains lots of God’s promises and the practical instructions on how to avoid sin and live righteously, then it is possible to live holily on earth if only we can keep the commandments of God and strive for the promised sanctification. Afterall, it is impossible for God to lie. As we read and study the Bible regularly and meditate therein, we will learn the truth which sets us free from besetting sins and by God’s grace, we will be able to live holily. Without holiness no one can see God! (Heb 12:14).
