TMOTCS: THE DANGER OF UNBELIEF!

The danger of unbelief is the danger of not believing God, of not trusting Him, of failing to take Him at His word about His begotten Son. Unbelief is turning our back upon God and His plans in Christ for mankind. Unbelief is a dangerous and deceitful disposition and a very great sin before God. Unbelief leads to hardness of heart, it grieves God and deprives us of His blessings (Heb 3:15-19).

So, it is very exigent to repent of unbelief and become a child of God than not to be, because it is not a sin of ignorance but a wilful sin to which there is forgiveness if repented o, but failure of which attracts loss of God’s best on earth and eternal punishment later (1 John 1:9). Note that God has reserved in His store; abundant blessings and prosperity of life for those who believe in Him and do His Will.

Brethren, this is a new month and the Lord is once again speaking to us of the danger of unbelief. Turning away from unbelief and accepting the Lordship of Christ will open the door to divine blessings, peace and prosperity, but refusing to hear His voice and come to Him will lead to failure and hopelessness of life in addition to God’s chastening now and eternal shame at Christ’s coming (1 John 2:28; Heb 11:6)
