TMOTCS: LIFE IS AN UNAVOIDABLE BATTLE!

Life is nothing but a battle. It is not a physical thing but a spiritual struggle which nobody wins without the Power of God. Unfortunately, retreat is not an option; it is a battle of do or die, take or leave, conquer or be destroyed, advance and not to retreat. As believers we are to invade our environment and culture to prevent them from invading and destroying us. This is achieved when we remain abiding in the Lord which is the best defence and good offence tool.

In other words, we are to remain active in the pursuit of the goals and purpose of God in our lives so as for divine Power to hold-away enemies of life like depression, discouragement, recklessness, greed, fear and worry. A growing and active faith in the Lord is the best defence against the wiles of the devil and taking new ground in Christ Jesus gives increasing boldness and strength to win the battle of lifetime.

Unfortunately, while battling against the schemes of life, there is equally a race against time and time is running out fast by seconds each day. So, it is expedient for the faithful believer to remain focused and be battle ready every second of life to win the race at all cost. So, life is all about running a race and advancing in it by pressing forward to win and forgetting those things that are past in order to accomplish God’s purpose on this earth.
