TMOTCS: GOD’S PLAN FOR US IS ETERNAL THROUGH JESUS

It is a sad situation that a lot of people do not know or discover God’s plan and purpose for their life and consequently, their whole life is filled with frustration, disappointment and failure. Every unconverted person is living a self-planned life, doing things in his own way and according to his own plan and making decisions and choices outside the centre of the Will of God which most often have proved to be so wrong (John 21:3).

God has a definite plan and purpose for the life of everyone of His children. His plan is unique and personal for each individual (Acts 9:4) and cannot be fulfilled in the life of any other person. His plan for everyone is good and pleasing, according to His perfect Will (Rom 12:1-2). It is a practical and workable plan; thoroughly related to everyday living and service. It is not a plan which only sounds pleasant, good and perfect theoretically but also in practice and experience.

How do we enter into God’s? We enter His plan when we accept and acknowledge Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour with complete submission to Him in total obedience. Apostle Paul entered the plan of God when he submitted to the Jesus on his way to Damascus (Acts 9:6). After submission, we are to have absolute and implicit trust in Him; study and search His Word daily and have regular communion with Him in prayers. The plan of God in Christ for us is an eternal one to meet all our expectations. (Jer 29:11).
