TMOTCS: DEFENDING THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN OUR TIME

No doubt that many that would have been converts of the Christian Faith are discouraged because many church assemblies have erred and strayed away. Wolves have come into the fold in sheep’s clothing and evil forces are at work inside the Church and there are many false prophets doing the enemy’s work in the Body of Christ. We are therefore to hold fast to the True Faith without wavering (Heb 10:23).

While being concerned about the evil forces at work outside the Church, our first concern should be about the forces at work inside the Church. Believers should contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints”. We must defend the Faith in these days of decline and not sit idly rejoicing and enjoying the blessings in the Faith. As we spread the good news to others to be saved, so also are we to fight for the Truth and keep it (2 Tim 4:7).

We must defend God\’s divine plan and purpose for Salvation and Christ\’s sacrificial mission for His Church. We must stand up for the Scripture and protect and proclaim the purity of the Holy Book. The Scripture has been corrupted, the Faith hijacked, and the foundational Truth adulterated. The Church is turned to lucrative business by many assemblies. This must stop! We must proclaim the Truth and stand for Righteousness at all costs. (1 Tim 6:12).
