A DESTRUCTIVE ENDEAVOUR.

We have been divinely admonished to enter through the strait (narrow) gate and not through the wide gate and broad way which will end up in devastating destruction of the body and soul. Unfortunately many people have delightfully chosen to walk through the condemned broad way not minding the repercussions; (Mat 13:7). They do this just for the sole purpose of rejecting Christ as the plan of God for the redemption of mankind and reconciliation of humanity to God Himself by repentance of sins and the forgiveness of sins offered by the atonement of Christ’s saving blood. This is the plan of God for us in this church-age dispensation. It is the perfect divine plan of God for the lost and the very reason and purpose for which Christ, the begotten Son, was manifested in flesh to live with us and die for us as a sacrificial lamb to reconcile man with God. Since God is perfect, His plan for the redemption of man is certainly perfect. Unfortunately, His perfect plan through Christ was misconstrued by many and unrepentantly blasphemed by them. They reject Jesus as the Son of God and do not believe He lived and died for us. Worse still, they said God has no Son! What an ignorant irony!!

The antagonist of Jesus as the Saviour and the resister of the church-age program of God is Satan the devil. We are warned to always put on the whole armour of God to be able to stand against the wiles of the devil; (Eph 6:11). If we reject God and His plan through Christ, then we are left only with the choice of the devil and his plan. Satan’s plan is that of rebellion and disobedience to God and His plan for mankind is evil. He is diabolical, always working schematically to subvert people from benefiting from God’s program of inner peace through salvation by Grace. He is the enemy of Man’s soul, a thief, who came to steal, to kill and to destroy humanity; (John 10:10). When he failed in his demand for absolute transfer of power from God and fell from glory, he became an adversary of God and mankind. A roaring lion, roaming about seeking for those that are ready to be misled and eventually be devoured; (1Pet 5:8). Those who, on their own, intentionally rejected the plan of God in Christ have rejected God and His plan for the church age. It is sinful not to be for God but against Him and His plan, no matter our religion. The expectation of God for us, is to rule over the power of Satan and his sinful overtures through unfailing faith in Jesus Christ.

Without the Power of God through Christ, we cannot overcome the power of Satan and of sin. The ministry of the church age which is the gospel of Christ, of Salvation of Souls and of Heavenly Glory is the last opportunity given to mankind by the Almighty after which the present world will come to an end as well as the Grace of God for Salvation. Those who missed the rapture and seek redemption after it, may have to pay for it by their own blood at a very slim chance! No wonder the church age mission of Christ is fuelled by the Power of the Holy Spirit, so that the gospel will circulate widely to all nations and to all people without exemption. Nobody will be able to claim ignorance of the Plan of God for man. Although, God overlooked the ignorance of earlier times, He now commands all people everywhere to repent and be saved because at this time of church age, no ignorance of any kind from anyone in any religion will be acceptable to God; He will winked at ignorance; (Acts 17:30). Today, we must be repentant of our unbelief, religious falsehoods and blasphemies against Jesus Christ. He is the only begotten Son of God through Whom all souls must be saved. Without Jesus in us, we will continue to live to the flesh and not unto God Almighty, the result of which is disastrous at the end of time, no matter how religious we are.
